Top Dressing Nitrogen in Wheat 

Below is an image of a wheat field planted on 4/25/19. This image is from the 10th of June. We were beginning to see some slight yellowing of the actual wheat in the field in the last few days. I enrolled this field in Encirca Pro and discovered you could see adverse health changes going back to the 1st of June in the crop health index, long before it was visible looking at the field. On 6/14 the customer applied 17.5 gallons of 28% UAN. Stay tuned for next week’s post that will include a follow up health index image along with an image of the changes in crop health. I suspect there will be a very noticeable difference.
