Top Dressing Nitrogen in Wheat (Updated)

This post is a follow up to my previous post. This farmer applied 17.5 gallons of 28% UAN to wheat on June 14th. As stated in my previous post, it was evident using Encirca imagery that there was starting to be some adverse health affects to the wheat before we could physically see them in the field. The below pictures show an obvious plant health boost after the nitrogen was applied. Encirca imagery leaves little doubt about the effect the nitrogen made and gives the producer confidence to spend the money on bettering his or her crop.
